As you can see, Patti is feeling better. In fact, so much better she took this photo of Little Miss, one of two dachsies that roam our home.
Apparently, Little Miss is ready for the big screen and does a purty good job acting like a FrankenDachsi, which Tim Burton should've used in his Frankenweenie film.
I mean, dachsies ARE the definitive weiner dogs, so what the hey? What say you, dear readers? I think Little Miss is clearly star material.
Update: Patti's wound has closed up, and there is no sign of infection, and I
'm convinced your prayers helped! Thank you, my friends!
Patti is experiencing some pain from the nerve damage, but that should fade away within six months, according to her doc.
It's good to see my love smiling more. :^)

Aw, what a great picture of you two! I'm glad her wound has closed up without any infection.
And you're absolutely right, Little Miss would have been perfect in that role!
For once I thought I could be the first to comment, but Julie beat me by 5 minutes. Oh well, I can't think of anyone I would rather be beaten by! Glad to see you have the love of your life back!
Thanks Julie!
Funny thing, I almost made a face before the photo was snapped.
Fortunately, I had second and third thoughts which gave me pause.
Not that there's anything wrong with makin' faces (not all faces are equal though), but it's nice to get a photo that's this warm...occasionally. :^)
Hi Bob!
Thanks! I concur! Julie is a blessing to us all, as are you! :^)
Aye! When Patti smiles it really lights up the room (and my heart).
What a sweet picture of you two!
Love the dachsies, too. That's some mad p-shopping there!
You might want to get a vet to look at that eye.
Glad to hear Patti is all healed up.
Hi Joan!
Thank you.
Aye, I like this photo of us. It was a impulsive photo and sometimes they are the best ones. :^)
Patti is getting purty good at the photoshop thing!
Hiya John!
Thanks! It's good to have her home and recovering nicely!
I imagine the vet would be quite perplexed by an eye like that. :^)
