Know what? I really hate that stupid escape button! Here I almost finished a fairly decent (for me) post, and I accidently hit the Esc button only to find my entry blank. Arrgghh!
Hey, as slow as I type, this is a substantial loss! Okay, whining time is over (grumble, grumble).
Okay, to make a long story short: After the last and probably final act of my foray into fiction, I'm returnin' to the true blue sea stories that almost made me in-famous, or somethin'.
Youse guys never did hear the story of how I almost self-destructed, and how a few, very painful...well, don't wanna ruin the story now, do we?
Of course, my longtime readers n' friends know the ending, as of now that is, but this was a very crucial time in my life. Consider it a pre-seaquel. A time where I was in a freefall into the abyss. Naturally, there was still a lot of comedy to go along with the tragedy, so it won't be a long slog through downer after downer.
And once again, please aceept my apologies for not stoppin' by your blogs as often as I would like. If only I could speed read again. However, I am thankful I can read again. :^)
Also, as most of you know, I lost most of my stories from my blog going a few years back last fall, and the backup site I was savin' everything to went belly-up as well. What are the odds? No, don't tell me. Anyways, I may be able to recover some of it through microsoft outlook, so I'll be doin' that as much as I can.
And in between writing I'll soitenly be visitin' your excellent blogs. :^)

Write-on, Dude!
Er, I mean, "Cap'n!", that is.
If you haven't left the screen when your entry goes blank, just remember "ctrl z". I works in blogger pretty well.
Yes, we'll be here when you are!
:o)
Doh!
I'm just glad to know you're still writing, Ben. And what Joan said™.
Sea rations are tasty and nutritious and come in a nice tin.
Aye, I'm glad there's more in the pipeline, Ben!
Woo-hoo! I'll fire up the coffeepot for the first watch, and launch the longboat -- well, ok, it's a jonboat, but the idea's the same.
Oh, I gotta go pick the strawberries.
We're ready Cap'n.
And don't spare the good sh*t!
;)
JWM
Thanks, Walt.
I shall INdeavor to do just that.
I'm beginning to get used to the extra activity required for two new dogs. :^)
I have no idea how you manage a dozen cats. Ha ha!
Hi Joan!
Thanks for the pointer (why do they place the Esc button in such a precarious place?).
Would that be press "ctrl z" at the same time? Or ctrl and then z?
Thank you! :^)
Julie!
Much obliged to hear that. I got sea stories just burstin' to get out.
Hey Dojo!
There's nothin' quite like openin' sea rats with a trusty John Wayne!
Time fer some underway replenishment and some vertrep goodness. :^)
Hi Mushroom-
Ah yes, Navy joe! It might not taste the best, but it'll git er done! :^)
And a jonboat will be sufficient.
Skully has some major horsepower he would like to add, if that's okay.
Thanks John!
I guarantee the good sh*t will freely flow. I won't hold nothin' back. All ahead flank, good sh*t ready to fire! :^)
