I've never heard the song before.
Funny that, being Cherokee, my mom swore that all her kids were Blackfoot, so grimy and dirty were we at the end of a long summer Saturday.
Ha ha! I wonder what Blackfoot moms tell their kids?
"Look! You kids are dirtier than an Elizabeth Warrenkee (dirty white wendigo)."
Irt the song, I know I only heard it a few times and not for decades, until a few days ago when I was checking at youtube to see if there were songs from them I hadn't heard yet.
This is off their first album, No Reservations which is out of print.
The CD is out of print also (sort of. I could only find them for sale from German music stores, which is weird) so a new one costs over 25 bucks.
A used one is over 50 bucks. No one wants to give it up and I can see why. :^)
Now all the original guys are retired and they have a new generation picked out by Ricky Medlocke.
They got a tough act to follow!
